Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ cups of flour
  • 2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 1 cup of sugar( white)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 table spoon water
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 2 table spoon sugar

Instructions:

  • The oven should be preheated at first up to 350 degrees then filter together with the flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt.
  • In a huge bowl, cream together the butter and 1 cup of sugar until it would become downy. Strike the egg and stir in the water and molasses. Slightly, stir the filtered ingredients into the molasses blend.
